This policy explains what data Incomestead collects on this website and how we use it. Incomestead is operated by Lion Run Group Limited, Vistra Corporate Service Centre, Wickhams Cay II, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110, British Virgin Islands ("we", "us"). What we collect
- Email address — when you subscribe to the Weekly Governance Dispatch / join the founding cohort. We collect this only when you submit it.
- Basic usage analytics — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (country/region), device/browser type, collected via Ghost's built-in, cookie-free first-party analytics. It does not track you across other sites. This helps us understand what content is useful.
- Standard server logs — IP address and request metadata, kept transiently for security and operation.
We do not collect your portfolio holdings, brokerage credentials, or financial account data through this website. Any governance tools run in your browser; your numbers are not sent to us unless a tool explicitly says so.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you subscribed to, and to deliver any resource you requested.
- To measure and improve content and site performance.
- To keep the site secure and operational.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it except with the processors that run the site on our behalf (below), or where required by law.
Processors we use
- Ghost — website/CMS, built-in cookie-free analytics, and (for now) the subscriber list and email delivery.
- Beehiiv — (planned) email list and delivery; this policy will be updated when we migrate.
- Namecheap — domain registration and DNS.
Each processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cookies & analytics
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics are cookie-free and do not track you across other sites, so we do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use only essential cookies — for example, to keep you signed in as a member. Because we set no non-essential cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required. You can still block cookies in your browser; some features (like member sign-in) may be affected. If we ever add analytics or tools that set non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. UK/EU GDPR, or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. To exercise any right, email management@lrg.limited.
Retention
We keep subscriber data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregate, cookie-free analytics are retained by Ghost per its standard retention.
Children
This site is intended for adults managing their own capital and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change. Material changes affecting subscribers will be noted by email where appropriate.
