Margin and leverage carry serious risk. Where we discuss margin, borrowing against a portfolio, SBLOCs, or similar, understand that leverage amplifies losses as well as gains. A broker can issue a margin call or liquidate positions without contacting you first, and requirements can rise sharply in volatile markets. We teach concepts and safe-use principles; we never tell you how much you personally should borrow.
We are not anti-insurance, and structure needs professionals. Comparisons involving whole life insurance, trusts, estates, or succession are educational framing only. Insurance, trust, tax, and estate decisions require a qualified attorney, accountant, or licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
